Work the Runway 2025 | Passport to Opportunity
This year’s Work the Runway theme, Passport to Opportunity, is all about celebrating the courageous journeys of our models—real Goodwill clients and employees. This one-of-a-kind fashion show event features our very own employees and clients as models, stepping into the spotlight to showcase not just fun fashion, but personal journeys of hope and empowerment.
Each model will walk the runway dressed for their dream destination—whether it’s a bustling European capital, a serene island retreat, or a vibrant cultural festival. Their outfits will reflect the unique spirit of their chosen place, but more importantly, they will represent the confidence, growth, and opportunities that Goodwill has helped unlock in their lives.
As a stylist, you’re not just creating a look—you’re helping tell a powerful story of transformation, resilience, and the freedom to dream. Let the destination inspire your style fashion, and let their journey inspire you.

What IS Work The Runway?
Work The Runway is Goodwill’s annual fashion show fundraiser. Each year, Goodwill employees and clients take the stage wearing curated, looks styled by our community of influencers, creators, thrifters and makers.
The event is an opportunity to showcase the real stories of our employees and clients who have been changed and helped by our services, and to demonstrate Goodwill’s powerful mission in helping people overcome challenged to employment– all for a fashionably good cause!

This year’s Work The Runway will be held at The Criterion in Oklahoma City on August 8 from 5:30-9 PM.
What is this year’s theme?

This year’s theme, Passport to Opportunities, represents the journeys our Goodwill employees and clients take to reach their destination: whether that’s a steady job, a move up in their career, or the support they need to learn and grow their skills.
Each model will walk the runway dressed for their dream destination—whether it’s a bustling European capital, a serene island retreat, or a vibrant cultural festival. Their outfits will reflect the unique spirit of their chosen place, but more importantly, they will represent the confidence, growth, and opportunities that Goodwill helps unlock in their lives.
How many models will I style?
How many models will I style?
You will be responsible for styling at least one model, up to three if you choose.
How will I get the clothes for my model(s)?
How will I get the clothes for my model(s)?
Each stylist will receive a Stylist Letter that can be used in any metro area Goodwill location that will allow them to take the clothing items they need to style their models. You may get clothing items from a store at any time, however, stylists will be responsible for arranging meet-up times with their models outside of pre-arranged shopping dates.
Any unused clothing must be returned to the original store with all tags attached, or returned to Goodwill HQ by July 23.
When should I be available?
When should I be available?
All stylists must be available all day on August 8, 2025.
Stylists should be available for both designated shopping dates and one try-on date with your model(s). Please let us know if your availability changes or if you are unable to attend Work The Runway.
How will I be compensated?
How will I be compensated?
All stylists will be compensated this year with:
- $200 Visa giftcard.
- Stylists will receive $50 per model they style (up to 3).
- All stylists will receive 2 complimentary tickets to Work The Runway.
