Upcycle Halloween Décor For Fall
Many enjoy decorating for Halloween but before you know it, the spooky season is over. Instead of storing the Halloween decorations for another year, why not try upcycling them into a beautiful fall décor display.
Fall Décor Idea
One example is the classic Jack-o’-lantern used for trick or treating. If you thought these could only be used for a candy haul, think again! With a few simple steps, this pumpkin can be transformed into an adorable piece for your fall décor.
What you will need:
- Plastic pumpkin bucket
- Paint
- Burlap fabric
- Hot glue
- Duct tape
- Newspaper
- A pumpkin stem or twigs
Instructions:
- Remove the plastic handle from the pumpkin bucket
- Stuff the bucket with old newspapers until you create a dome shape at the opening
- Use duct tape to cover the opening and create a round pumpkin
- With the paint color of your choice, paint the whole pumpkin
- Use a hot glue gun to wrap your pumpkin with the burlap ribbon, keep wrapping until the whole pumpkin is covered
- Glue a pumpkin stem or twig to the top of the pumpkin to complete the look
