Introducing Goodwill Holiday Elves, a compassionate giving program that supports Goodwill employees and their families who could use a little extra support this season. These are the team members who greet shoppers, sort donations, teach classes, and help power the programs that change lives. Now, the community has a chance to lift them up with kindness.
And the best part? Giving is simple, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.
A Simple Way to Give Back: Shop the Amazon Wish List
Holiday Elves has gone digital this year with an easy-to-use Amazon Wish List, filled with real holiday wishes from Goodwill families. Employees can choose to submit gift requests anonymously, and each one is thoughtfully reviewed by a committee to ensure privacy, care, and fairness.
With just a few clicks, you can select an item and send it directly to Goodwill — no wrapping or delivery needed.

How Holiday Elves Works
Here’s how your generosity becomes holiday magic:
- Nov 1 – Dec 1: Goodwill employees are invited to share their family’s holiday wish list.
- Nov 24: The community Wish List opens for shopping.
- Nov 29 – Dec 2: Special giving days help amplify support.
- Dec 10: Final day to purchase gifts through Amazon.
- Dec 17–19: Gifts are delivered to families in time for the holidays.
Every item is tracked, received, and matched to an anonymous participant to ensure transparency and trust.
Why This Program Matters
Everyone experiences seasons of increased responsibility, change, or transition. During the holidays — a time that can bring added financial and emotional pressure — Holiday Elves provides a way for our community to surround Goodwill team members with care and encouragement.
