Goodwill Opening in Enid: Offering Jobs, Support, and Community Partnership

We’re thrilled to announce Goodwill Central Oklahoma is opening a brand-new retail store and donation center in Enid on Thursday, October 9, 2025! But this isn’t just about opening our doors — it’s about opening opportunities.

The new store, located at 4125 W Owen K Garriott Road, will feature a 14,028-square-foot sales floor and bring 24 to 30 new jobs to the community. Starting in early 2026, we’ll expand our services by offering on-site workforce development programs that provide job training, career coaching, and more — all at no cost to participants.

Building Connections in Enid

We’ve already begun building relationships in Enid. For example, we recently partnered with Enid Street Outreach to provide 150 shirts to individuals in need — a small step in what we hope will be many meaningful partnerships to come.

  • 1,410 total job placements
  • 686 individuals placed through Goodwill programs
  • 173 hired through GCPI (Security & Professional Services)
  • 79 internal promotions through Begin at Home
  • Average starting wage: $12.55/hour

📚 Training That Pays Off

  • 243 workforce training hours delivered
  • 1,262 credentialing/job skills sessions
  • 634 services provided through GCPI
  • 44 Career Success Plans created

🌟 Youth Empowerment

  • 329 youth served
  • 57 completed YEPP camps
  • 174 justice-involved youth trained
  • 100% earned Employment Essentials certification
  • 93% would recommend the program

🔓 REPP (Reentry Preparation Program)

  • 141 students started at 3 Department of Corrections facilities
  • 109 graduates
  • Up to 72 hours of hands-on training
  • Supported by a $10,000 gift from Express Employment Professionals

🏠 Employee Support Programs

  • 2,396 wraparound services for 806 employees
  • $21,397 in financial aid, $12,000 in grocery cards
  • 253 engaged through WorkLife Partnership
  • 92% reported reduced stress
  • 51.8% employee retention at 90 days
