Goodwill Choctaw Celebrates Record-Breaking Grand Opening
On June 25, Goodwill Central Oklahoma proudly celebrated the grand opening of our newest retail store in Choctaw, Oklahoma, and the community response exceeded every expectation.
With more than 500 guests joining us throughout the day, this was the largest store opening in Goodwill Central Oklahoma’s history. We are incredibly grateful to the Choctaw community for the warm welcome and overwhelming support!
We’d like to extend a special thank you to the Choctaw Chamber of Commerce for helping us officially open our new Goodwill Choctaw location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Their partnership and support made the day even more meaningful.
Our celebration wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible local businesses and organizations that helped make the event memorable. Thank you to Sip City OKC, Gettin Smash’d, JAKE FM, and LC Charcuterie for joining us and creating such a fun atmosphere for our guests. We’re also especially thankful to Boomerang Diner for generously donating bottled water to help keep everyone cool and hydrated throughout the event.
One of the highlights of the new store is a stunning custom mural created by local artists Aditi & Dane Heins. Their original artwork brings color, creativity, and a unique sense of place to the store, loaded with elements from the Choctaw community, to make it a welcoming destination for shoppers and donors alike.
To celebrate opening day, the first 50 shoppers through our doors received complimentary Goodwill tote bags as a thank-you for being part of this exciting milestone, and grand opening celebrations always include prizes and raffles!
