CALL CENTER TRAINING – JOB TRAINING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Working in a call center environment can be difficult if you do not have the right skills to understand what you are walking into. At Goodwill, we want to make sure that our students receive the call center training they need to not only land a great interview working for some of the top customer service and telecommunications leaders in the area but also thrive in the environment. Our 6-module seminar provides the tools that are needed to handle call center work with ease.

THE CALL CENTER TRAINING CERTFICATE PROGRAM WILL COVER:

Course Topics Description of Topic
Introduction to Computers This section covers the basics of computer skills including desktop, mouse functions, and the various parts of a computer.
Introduction to Keyboarding This section helps the learner navigate the keyboard, increase typing speed, and accuracy
Customer Service This section introduces the learner to customer service strategies including tone, accommodations, and second-mile service.
Virtual Assistant and Problem Solving Skills This section covers the basics of problem-solving through customer challenges over the telephone and on Virtual Assistant software.
Conflict Management This section explores how to overcome customer complaints through customer service, how to have a great peer working environment, and provides the basic skills in conflict management.
Phone Etiquette This section is a phone practice section which includes basic phone etiquette skills and navigation.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 18 years of age and ID. (16 years of age permitted with proper credentials).

PAYMENT

All tuition and fees are payable for the program in its entirety. Payment is due prior to beginning the program. Tuition waivers or reductions may be available for cash-pay students. Please check with our staff to see if you are eligible.
